And I say it&#8217;s high time.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, the hipster population has exploded in the same way Ted Nugent says\u00a0the deer population has, because there are no natural predators.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Society has embraced these wayward idiots in tight pants with ironic tattoos, such as a flying toaster or a piece of pizza.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4840 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP\/\/\/yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7\" data-src=\"https:\/\/i80sportsblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/schick-united-we-shave-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"391\" height=\"442\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4840 lazyload\" src=\"https:\/\/i80sportsblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/schick-united-we-shave-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"391\" height=\"442\" \/><\/noscript><\/p>\n<p>But now, Schick has positioned itself as a hipster predator. No, not this guy, but the thought of the original Predator hunting down hipster doofuses in major metropolitan areas the way he hunted down Danny Glover in <em>Predator 2<\/em>, does get me a little excited.<\/p>\n<p>The #UnitedWeShave campaign has\u00a0very simple message &#8211; summer is better beardless. And not only is summer better sans beard, but so is America, which is why Schick is recruiting you to &#8220;Help Shave the Nation.&#8221;\u00a0Schick also\u00a0<span style=\"color: #222222;\">partnered with illustrator\u00a0<\/span>Alex Fine<span style=\"color: #222222;\">\u00a0(whose illustrations pepper this article) to remind men of the dangers of celebrating summer with a full beard.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>#UnitedWeShave celebrates shaving, urging guys to buck beards and liberate their jawlines.
